One man's trash...

Hello Friends,

Thanks again for your support for our mission trip. We're still in the process of pinning down logistics like flights, yellow fever shots, etc., but more exciting things should be coming soon.

Speaking of exciting, my team is going to begin our fundraising in the coming weekends. This weekend, on Saturday May 29th, a crack team of car washing specialists will be waiting eagerly at the intersection of Clinton and Blackstone to wash your car for the low, low (low) price of $5.

Also, on the following weekend--the 5th and 6th of June--we will be hosting a yard sale at my team leader's house. While we would be pleased to have you come and make purchases and in so doing aid our effort to leave this hemisphere, we would be equally pleased by the donation of any yard sale worthy merchandise that you have lying around and have been waiting for the perfect philanthropic opportunity to get rid of (i.e., "One man's trash...").

If you do happen to have anything that you would like to donate to our yard sale, you can contact me via email at samthekelly@yahoo.com, via Facebook, or by simply leaving a comment at the end of this post, and I would be happy to come pick it up--perhaps I would even go as far as Bakersfield for such a blessing.
